Bedroom

Bryn Alexander seems to think this place is a good option for headboards.  Maybe I will let her try it out first!  I know I could make one but I honestly have NO TIME to do it!! Plus, handy hubby is starting to feel more MS-y lately and I don't want to push him too hard.  We all know a DIY project means Husband DIFM (do it for me!).

On a related note, I am really loving the whole bedroom vibe here.  Cowhide in front of the big bed.  No foot board (because even though I love them, my tiny room has no space for it!), bench at the end of the bed....I just wonder if I got rid of my dresser, or perhaps replaced it with a smaller one to open up some square footage - could I survive?  Probs.  I hoard anyway.

I would have no trouble sleeping...

if I were snug in the crisp white sheets firmly grounded by the wide posts of this bed.

I have already tried to order this, but am having trouble.  This is definitley going in my guestroom.  That is if Jarlath Mellett can get his act together for me to put an order in on his website.  Oh, and if the price is right!  This darn website won't even show me the price!  Grrrr.

Old favorite revisited.



This room from Domino still pulls at my heart strings.  The jewel box colors, the whimsy, the possible DIY factor. Love, love, love.

I am thinking that when Harrison is ready for a big boy room- hopefully in like 5 years!- we will do a take on this.  Definitely something like this for his headboard, unless of course I find a Jenny Lind bed to do this...



Headboard Obsession

Cannot decide what to do with my headboard!!!  We have a king size bed, which currently has a wrought iron header and footer, which I am O.V.E.R.!  I have decided to make my own, thanks to inspiration from so many of my blogger friends.  But, I am not yet settled on the shape (curvey, straight, super tall, short and squat?), color (floral, all white), tufted or not, nailheads or not....can you tell I am scared to commit?
